How do you find your business niche? And is niching really necessary to break 6-figures?
This post will help so that you female BLI$$preneurs get excited about developing your niche so you can more easily:
- Become known as an expert
- Get paid way more money, way faster
- Grow your BLI$$ness at light speed
- Get more biz opportunities such as: speaking gigs, sell to private clients, get YouTube channel hits, make faster sales on your website, get hot book deals etc.
Many of us already know that it’s typically a great deal harder and more time-consuming to build a business without a niche. Generally, unless you have a ton of start up capital to spend on marketing, it’s ideal to have a niche when you’re first getting started in your small BLI$$ness as a solopreneur. When you get started, no one knows who you are; they don’t trust you enough to buy from you.
Trust takes time to build, and it’s faster to build trust when you have a particular niche where you can stand out as the ‘perceived expert’ on something very specific.
There’s lots of competition out there in the marketplace. Other entrepreneurs do the same thing that you do perhaps? Often times who have more experience, with better branding, and at charge cheaper rates?Yes. Indeed. There is a lot of competition out there, especially now that we live online.
You simply have to pop from the crowd and stand out in front of your Soulmate Clients!
But how do you boil your soul purpose down to one teensy tiny expert topic?!
With a bazillion potential niches, how do you pick just one? This can make anyone crazy, and everyone goes through the niche bitch stage, but we can just as easily turn on the switch and pick our P2PP.
I call a niche a “P2PP”–a Pain to Pleasure Problem–something you solve in people’s lives that they’re happy to pay you for because it saves them a huge headache, time, money, health issues, etc.

P2PP problems are in one of three categories:
1) LOVE 2) WEALTH/BIZ 3) HEALTH/WELLNESS
Your P2PP, will usually be in the topic of relationships, health, or wealth/biz. Sometimes you can combine two of these, but either way, your P2PP should be super clear and defined so someone can figure it out in a second and go “Oh, that’s for me!” if it’s for them.
Good examples of P2PPs are:
- Helping tech boys get ten dates a week so they can find their solute
- Helping spiritual women with their online marketing so they can make more money
- Helping business women who travel get over jet lag so they can function better
Examples of wishy-washy lame P2PPs would be:
- Helping empower people (everyone wants to be empowered, but why would they pay top dollar for something vague when they need help from an expert?)
- Helping women become more confident (still too vague)
- Life coaching for women
- Reiki for wellness
The above bad examples are way too vague to charge high-end rates and expect a big following, unless you’re super lucky. It would be hard to ask someone for a lot of money for simply “empowerment” “health” or “wellness” as you aren’t really an expert. Would you want to go to a general practitioner doctor or a specialist if you had some rare disease? Easy answer, right? For your Soulmate Clients it will be the same: they will hire you when they see you as an expert problem solver to the problem they have on their plate.
Get specific! Get more specific. Get even more specific.
Most of us tend to fear niching and we stay vague and our Soulmate Clients don’t want to pay us high end-rates or sign up at all.
Carve out your hot P2PP – the problem in the marketplace that you solve for your specific type of Soulmate Client. She or he is waiting for you and you must speak to her (him) using lingo and concepts that she’s ready to hear! You have to let her know that raging problem she has has a solution: which is you!
Blessings on your unleveled BLI$$ness with your hot P2PP. Share in the comments box what your P2PP is or if you haven’t chosen it yet, some options. Some of us here can give you feedback or ideas!
Namaste and light,
Amanda

Like many other Americans, I grew up feeling not good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, not thin enough, and definitely feeling not rich enough. Though I was raised in Berkeley, CA where the poor and rich lived together side by side, where I’d watch hippies walk by in the park, I’d also see lawyer dads pick their kids up in Porsches, then watch TV where it was all about being rich, beautiful, and perfect. Out of all of these mixed messages I’d received, somehow I decided that being rich was the key to happiness.
To become rich would satisfy my deepest childhood needs and fantasies
From about age 6, I remember somehow deciding that everything would be better in my life if I were rich. Though we had a steady middle-class thing going on in my family and could afford many nice amenities, we weren’t rich, as both of my parents were social workers. As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to be super-duper rich: mansions, fame, BMWs, Parisian vacations, designer everything. I felt that being rich would give me the perfect life and Id be truly happy!
College: The Biggest Myth to Getting Rich
As I teen, I realized that in order to get into a good college – the path to financial wealth according to my teachers – I had to compete for a spot at the top of everything. Sports teams, extra curricular groups, academics, and even for social status and boyfriends, etc. The rich kids were in the honors classes, had tutors, the cutest outfits, and in order to catch up to them I had to work harddddd. By age 16, my middle class ego got me focusing 100% on living the dream: academic achievement, athletics, eliminating my flaws, diets (I was a size 2!), and I pretty much became my own Nazi and felt not good enough all the time.
It wasn’t until later that I realized that going to college didn’t guarantee you a good job, financial prosperity, or opportunity in the city of your choice. But that is another discussion for another time.

I was a proud perfectionist, overachiever, and self-disciplinarian by the time I could vote
All of my self-hatred driven motivation led me to become a freshman at Duke University, which at the time was a top 3 university in the country (Harvard, Princeton, Duke, then Yale it was. And yes, I cared about this ranking!). When I arrived on Duke’s campus, I realized that I was surrounded with rich, beautiful, perfect people and a lot of old money… And that it would take even more efforts to keep up. I did my best to work my butt off in the pre-med program, trying to ace tests on 2 hours of sleep, exercising in the gym at 3am to keep the college beer off my belly, and blow drying my hair before class because everyone did so.
The harder I worked, the more success people I had around me. We were success-obsessed people who would compete together and never feel good enough! I ended up in a sorority where all the women were super success driven, but many of them were on speed, coke, and on such restrictive diets they could only be labeled as ‘disordered eating.’ During holidays, I would go to my friends’ homes to realize (a) that they were super-duper rich, and (b) that they really weren’t happy at all. Shocker!
These super rich successful people were all on prescriptive drugs and anti-depressants, and they were all too ashamed to admit it. Literally no one seemed happy once you got to see them on the inside (which I love doing, as a child of two shrinks!).
So, by the end of my freshman year, I burned out on the whole perfectionist thing. I was dealing with my own eating disorder issues, academic burn-out, getting hurt by bad boys who broke my heart, and I had no clue about my real self-worth. To top this off, I realized that my desire to be rich was being lead by a fantasy. Hollywood and our culture had built up an illusion which had cost me a fortune in time and financial aid loans to be paid!
As a sophomore, I escaped to Australia to study abroad and heal my body and nervous system that couldn’t handle the late nights and academic stress (like many sensitive people). I spent time in nature, saw dolphins, exotic birds, danced in pubs with crazy Aussies, and studied as little as possible. Bliss became my new fulfillment, and I was determined to live a life of bliss rather than money.
From burnout to bliss to balance
It took me years of spiritual self-healing, and getting to know myself, many countries, many therapists, healers, nutritionists, etc. I got trained as a healer in a dozen different healing techniques and eventually got my PhD in transpersonal counseling because I became so passionate about healing. I opened up to the psychic world, to acupuncture, and energy medicine – it was amazing and held so many answers! But as a healer, I never made any money. I lost money paying for my healing credentials and couldn’t figure out how to make a living off of alternative healing and shamanism.

Not being able to pay rent wasn’t so blissful, and while it was fun using the Law of Attraction to not work hard and just receive abundance through meditation and prayer, it didn’t work well enough to take all the classes I wanted, pay for living expenses, and feel comfortable and safe. So I had to do something…
I started praying for money answers
Before I turned 30, I started using my intuition to heal my money codes. I became determined to blend shamanism and my old desire to become rich (or at least to become financially stable). Angel messages arrived: I was guided to learn about online marketing, got a few spiritual radio/YouTube interviews, and began making YouTube videos.
My intuition and the angels were always my guide, rather than obsessive hard work and logic. I met a few key people who taught me exactly what to do. My prayers were always answered, albeit in divine timing which can seem too late.
Just three years ago, I learned how to turn my passions and gifts into a healing BLI$$ness without being a perfectionist! Steadily I have grown, transformed, and healed my relationship to money and to fitting into a perfect mold.
Sharing my gifts is my BLI$$ today!
I am so excited to help other women through this healing journey of perfectionism, self-judgement, and hating themselves for being “the weaker sex” and trying to prove our worth all the time through sex, money, and beauty. So here I am writing to you, and I hope that you are able to realize that there is a difference between the desire for wealth from the ego space, and the divine desire to express and experience the abundance that you are. Abundance is your divine birthright.

Now, here is the first thing to do if you have always wanted to be rich!
The first thing is to ask yourself Why? Why do you want to be rich? Go wayyyy way back to your childhood. What was happening then that made you decide that you wanted to make money? For me for instance, my busy parents worked a lot and weren’t around, and I noticed that my rich friends often worked less hours and wouldn’t stay in after school as long as I would. So I associated money with the ability to spend time with family, which I hungered for. I also associated money with how cool and happy you were, because of the images on TV, in movies, and portrayed at school by other rich kids. I wanted the best pair of sneakers, vacations, and new toys like any other child. I associated money with love and affection. You probably do too!
Step two is to clear your money codes; remove the feelings of childhood lack
For instance, I associated money with love and affection, and there was never enough of it. I started associating money with a feeling of lack of love and affection. Money had abandoned me, mommy and daddy abandoned me to go to work from 7am-6pm. So I held the association that money is abandonment. In order to break free from my money blocks, I needed to unhook this old money program or BS (belief system) from my consciousness. So, once you identify your feelings of lack associated with money, you can remove them. Imagine whatever dark stuck energy is blocking your money flow from childhood as a gray energy. Then, disconnect this energy from your aura, from your bank account, from your wallet. See a smoky gray energy releasing to the heavens and replace the lack with a golden wave of light.
Next, replace the feelings of lack with feelings of abundance
Posit that this new golden energy represents what you want money to feel like for you. Do you want money to love you? Do you want money to bring you affection? Write a list of attributes you want your money to do for you. Hint, it’s the same list of “Why I want to be rich.”
Finally, take action!
Take action not only to make money, build your BLI$$ness, attract clients. Sure, there’s always that. But most importantly perhaps is to practice bringing in the new energy codes we have reset here from your childhood. So, you have always wanted to be rich, hey? Hopefully now you have taken a deeper look as to what that really means for you and what quality of life money will be bringing you.
Namaste,
Amanda

For the love of money! Holy MatriMoney Moly!
OK…so here’s a pic of me loving money. And I do. But today I am throwing a TANTRUM about money… Not because I don’t love money or have money in abundance (because I finally do now, though I am still getting used to being a recovering starving healing artist), but because I am holding some ancient emotions about the money systems in my bones and spirit. I feel that while money is meant to serve the planet and to be a symbol for sacred exchange, our money consciousness holds all kinds of crap and is hurting so many good people for no good reason! It’s just that I am pissed about the distribution of wealth having gone into an icky pyramid shape time after time. When truly don’t we all deserve and desire to live like queens and kings!?
Sometimes the most enlightened way to release pain and emotion is to do what kids do, which is to throw a tantrum. So put your fists in a ball and stand on your feet, and shout whatever you want, and rant and rave about the wrongdoings of the money system! Promise… It’ll make you feel better.
I am releasing some deep dark money codes this week, and I know it’s unattractive, but necessary stuff, and you might need to do the same. All of us have grown up with many of the same toxic belief systems around money.
Wanna hear my tantrum? OK, but it’s best to put up your psychic screen first, because I am about to whine and spew and release, and it’s gonna be a messy money tantrum…
(Disclaimer: I usually never talk like this, or about this, because I want to stay positive, lover of rainbows n’ butterflies I am! And so I usually only focus on the Light and healing aspects of money. I don’t want to stay in the energy of the tantrum either, but I do have to let it out. So please excuse me as I shout n’ clear out the former BS (belief systems) about money that have been affecting me/us for the past 4-5,000 years…)
My mean money tantrum:
“Goshdarnittt! Why did we create such shady, shamelessly greedy, shitty money systems in Egypt so long ago?! Wasn’t the point of money to mirror the Holy Currency of Mother Nature? Wahhh! I hate the fact that there are so many human slaves still walking this earth for money, and that the collective consciousness regarding money has been so dark, desperate, and dreary. Divided from divinity.
“I hate that money hasn’t nurtured people like mother’s milk as it should! And that money hasn’t spread out resources evenly as it should, and that money hasn’t flowed like water as it should. Oh, and that half of my taxes go to the military – I don’t even like or believe in the military! Oh I would invest in a love military though!
“What pangs my heart most is that we don’t live on a ball of bliss ALL OF THE time, and put money where our bliss is. That parents are too distracted by the stress of paying bills that they don’t have time or energy to delight in the true love of their children and families. Some people live their entire lives like slaves and then they die, just because of the way the money systems were designed thousands of years ago. Haven’t we f$(*%ing evolved beyond this!? When I have all of the money my heart desires I am investing it into bliss-based communities, projects, and people that heal the world and make it more blissful and I am going to build the new love-based military that shoots love out of our heart chakras!”

All better!
Phew, I just had to say it, hadda get it out. I feel all better. Can I get a love money piggybank oink? Now you try. Write down or better, scream and shout out your money tantrum and let the ugly old past out, so it doesn’t block your BLI$$ abundance.
To switch it into something positive, money is love.
Love is everywhere. And money is everywhere, so let’s all learn to share, build the new love-based paradigms and blast the bull$hit out of our culture and make sharing resources and tools and technologies cool again. Walk like an Egyptian, way oh way oh….Namaste!

With love of the Goddess of Abundance,
Amanda

As a modern-day high priestess (or High-Healed Priestess, as I call us), spiritual persecution is one of my least favorite things to witness or experience. Here we are in 2014 in the West, and very few of us are actually getting burned at the stake. Yet I see so many High-Healed Priestesses hiding, running, or fearing being persecuted for their spiritual beliefs. They get stopped in their tracks in their lives, soul purposes, and in BLI$$ness. This is because the subconscious does not know the difference between this lifetime and the past. We still hold an ancient memory and record of the injustice of women healers, the torture of a thousand witch hunts. The erasure of the Divine Feminine within temples, scripture, and in most world religions has created an unspoken insanity that is quite alive within us High-Healed Priestesses even today. I know I can feel it inside of me, and I am healing this bit by bit, every day. In this article, we will clear persecution pain in your life, so you can live your big soular-powered mission. I’ll share my tips that have and are working for me to come out of my spiritual closet, so you feel safe to come out of hiding. It’s time to unveil the Divine Feminine and release the fear and shame of being a spiritual healer!
The Persecution Game: It’s Just Tacky, and Shady Too
It’s the oldest trick in the book. The persecutor uses the old bait and switch: they distract you from your spiritual love and purpose, to take you off your path so they can own all the power. When you feel persecution pain, they can take your pleasure. When you feel shame, they can take away your pride. When you feel hated, they can feed off of your love. Therefore, witch hunts are a very successful tactic to stop the spread of self-empowerment and Divine Love. I don’t want to be all dreary or negative since it isn’t meant to be that way! No, we’re here to create a Heaven on Earth, and we can have that. I believe in Divine Love and its infinite healing power. However, a Sacred No is in order when it comes to spiritual persecution. And I have to reveal the truth which is that there have been many witch hunts throughout the history of the fall of the Divine Feminine, and now that she is resurrected, it’s a little intense for us healers and lightworkers. If you have been burnt in a past life, it will play on repeat in as many lives as it takes to clear the abuse and trauma. This article is for you if you are a high priestess (or as I call us in modern-day, High-Healed Priestesses) or healer who has experienced:
- Energetic persecution
- Past life witch burnings
- Persecution for your spiritual, metaphysical, religious beliefs
- A feeling of being stalked, hunted, or suppressed online, in social media, or in real life
- Receiving intimidation, threats, or slandering from powerful entities (or humans channeling such entities)
- Feeling jabbed in your throat chakra when you want to express your truth
- If you have issues with your finances because you are so deathly afraid to shine brightly as a High-Healed Priestess and make any money off of your gifts
- If you are afraid to come out of your spiritual closet in fear of being persecuted by others who dislike your beliefs (or “broom closet” as my friend Jeannine calls it)
- Others around you talk negatively about money, sex, success, or some other form of love as if its the devil
This week was intense; I’ve felt like one human shish kabob, and it really, truly sucked. I got hated on big time by a Facebook troll along with her boyfriend, and her cult-like entourage who dislike my spiritual work. She and her boyfriend made a slandering YouTube video (which is illegal in this lifetime by the way!) bashing goddess workshops and myself, along with several other High-Healed Priestesses. While the accusations are pretty ridiculous and rude, it still hurts, and I felt a stabbing pain in the side of my energy body all weekend. But I am healing this, and it’s revealing a whole layer of my power that is returning!
The Past is Still with Us
When you’re being burnt at the stake so-to-speak, it triggers all past life memories for yourself, your soul family, and for the Divine Feminine where she has been suppressed by dark force energies. I have been literally burnt at the stake in several past lives and have seen it in vivid detail. When I was in my twenties, I went to many free psychics, shamans, and healers in search for help of my root chakra problem of financial poverty, and my crown chakra problem of menstrual migraine headaches. After years of meditation, herbalsm, research (as well as Western medical and therapeutic support), I have come to the conclusion that a lot of what I am dealing with in this lifetime is all about the past. And as I heal this lifetime, the past is healed. And as I heal those lifetimes, this lifetime is healed!
To Forgive or Not Forgive the Burners?
While I know that the woman must simply be expressing her feelings of pain and oppression (it looks like she’s gotten into a pretty intense relationship with a pretty dark energy), it’s completely inappropriate to bash another goddess. What I have come to realize is that persecutors persecute you because they are either:
- Jealous, envious, or insecure
- Are mentally unstable with borderline personalities and are taking out their issues on you
- Are afraid of the Light because their hearts have been broken by their past
- Are difficult people who thrive on being bullies, who feed off of pain
- Are channeling dark entities and are not “home” in their bodies and therefore operate with a more reptilian brain/energy
One more resource that I wanted to share in case you have some psychic attack energy in the sexual nature is this video, How to Clear Sexual Psychic Attack Energy
I say send them an “I forgive you” woosh of love, and get the F&CK out of there! These people channel some intense dark energies, and I wouldn’t want to expose my sensitive lightworker chakras to them. See their humanity, send them love, and then ask for the Highest Light to clear them out of your space. They are representing your hidden fears, so thank them for being the teacher in the moment. And say peace out! I have a Light Mission to transmit, gotta run! Lots of love to you all, may the Force be with you!!! Amanda
